Making Rounds Limited Edition Print
Making Rounds Limited Edition Print
A recent commission by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife has resulted in my creating a painting of a red fox, one of two species of fox found in Maine. This painting is to be used for the Department’s 2021 Recognition Print.
The fox is pictured in a slightly overgrown wild blueberry field. The blueberry field is one that we pass through on our way to Alamoosook lake in the summer, and we often see a red fox passing through the field, usually hunting for food for itself or it’s Kits. Because the fox roughly follows the same route through the field I think of it as “Making the Rounds” in it’s search.
Through the generosity of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife I am able to make available to the general public a small number of 50 of these limited edition prints. The image size is 9” x 12.25”, printed on 12” x 15” archival quality stock. Each print is numbered and signed by myself and comes with its own protective sleeve.
The original oil painting is 16” x 20” on canvas.
